(1 day) - a logical process to following when investigating and correcting
problems and ensuring that they do not recur.

Basic quality tools (2 day) -
Introduce the concepts of Pareto analysis, Brainstorming, Cause and effect

Failure Mode
Effect
Analysis F M E A (1 day)
- define what problems could occur, the reason, the effect this could
cause and identify measures to put in place to prevent this, before it
costs you.

Statistical Process
Control (2 day) - to establish if your manufacturing process is in
control, allowing you to repeatedly produce product and predict when the
process is drifting out of control, before it gets there, allowing actions
to be taken to correct it. A tool to demonstrate continuous improvement
and minimise the production of defective product.

Writing work instructions (1 day) - This course
defines the different approaches to producing Meaningful / Valuable work
instructions that can be followed and used by all.
Process symbols and
understanding process mapping - The new ISO9000 2000 standard concentrates
heavily on "process" and promotes the use of process maps and flow charts.
This course explains the theory behind it.

Internal auditing (2 days) - Internal auditing is
mandatory as part of the ISO9000 (and most other) quality systems. This
course defines how to audit; the records that are required and to action
types that should be taken.

Change management (1 day) - Introducing a new
system, technique, approach, concept is one of the
most difficult things to manage successfully. We will show you how to do
this.

Benchmarking (1 day) - what is it? What can it
achieve? How do I do it?
